Service at the Altar of the Lord is a priviledge, not a right, and reserved for those young Catholics who, having received the Sacrament of Holy Communion for the first time, are eligible to offer their service to the Lord.    Servers are asked to make committments to serve through their High School years.

At St. John's, Altar Servers will be trained in both Ordinary and Extraordinary Form.   Generosity in service is highly encouraged (many serve at more than one Mass a Sunday and often offer their service for daily Mass, Weddings, Funerals and other events.

Currently we are only accepting male Altar Servers.
